How to apply for Civil Marriage?

1. Application Form: Get a marriage license application form from the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) where you plan to get married. 2. Valid IDs: Bring valid government-issued IDs, such as passports, driver's licenses, or SSS IDs. 3. Birth Certificates: Submit birth certificates from the National Statistics Office (NSO) or a certified true copy from the LCRO. 4. Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR): Get a CENOMAR from the NSO or a certification from the LCRO that you're not married. 5. Parental Consent: If you're 18-20 years old, get parental consent. If you're 21-24 years old, get parental advice. 6. Divorce or Death Certificate: If previously married, submit a divorce decree or death certificate of the previous spouse. 7. Once the requirements from 1-6 is complete: Submit the application form and requirements to the LCRO. 8. Pay the Fees: Pay the marriage license fee (usually around PHP 350-400). 9. Attend a Pre-Marriage Counseling: Attend a pre-marriage counseling session, usually conducted by the LCRO. 10. Wait for the Marriage License: Wait for 10-15 working days for the marriage license to be issued. 11. Get Married: Get married within 120 days from the date of issuance of the marriage license. 12. Register the Marriage: Register the marriage with the LCRO within 15 days after the wedding.
